In Kortstrid TCG, defense modifiers play a crucial role in mitigating the damage dealt by an attacking card. These modifiers guard against an attacking card that has the same Attack Modifier as it. If it's not the same, then it follows the same values as listed for Attack Modifiers. Slashing: Slashing attacks utilize sharp-edged weapons to deliver swift and precise cuts, inflicting deep wounds on enemies and causing them to bleed. While attacking, does +1 against Ripping, Blunt, Piercing, Ballistic, Arcane, Stronghold and +5 against Breach. Has no effect against Slashing
Ripping attacks involve tearing and rending foes with savage claws and fangs, causing severe trauma and dismemberment while instilling fear in their adversaries. While Attacking, does +1 against Slashing, Blunt, Piercing, Ballistic, Arcane and +5 against Stronghold. Has no effect against Ripping and Breach.
Blunt: Blunt attacks rely on heavy, solid weapons to crush enemies with brutal force, causing immense impact damage and potentially stunning or disabling them. While attacking, does +1 against Slashing, Ripping, Piercing, Ballistic, Stronghold and +5 against Arcane. Has no effect against Blunt and Breach.
Piercing: Piercing attacks use pointed weapons and projectiles to penetrate armor and flesh, dealing precise damage to vital points and exploiting weaknesses in enemy defenses. While Attacking, does +2 against Slashing, Ripping, Blunt, Arcane, Stronghold and +5 against Ballistic. Has no effect against Piercing and Breach.

While attacking, has +4 against Slashing, Blunt, Piercing, Ballistic, Arcane. Has no effect against Ripping, Stronghold and Breach
