Card Leveling Process.

In the world of Kortstrid, cards gain experience as they are used in battles, allowing them to grow stronger and more powerful over time. As players engage in duels and confront their opponents, their cards will accumulate experience points, increasing their potential and effectiveness in future battles.

Each card's experience level is tied to its current rarity tier: common, uncommon, rare, legendary, epic, and supreme. As a card reaches its maximum experience for its current rarity level, players will have the opportunity to enhance and upgrade the card to the next higher rarity tier. This process requires the use of specific upgrade materials, which can be acquired through gameplay, as well as a unique energy source known as Deca Energy.

To upgrade a card to the next rarity tier, players must first gather the necessary upgrade materials for that particular rarity level. These materials can be found throughout the Kortstrid universe, hidden in various locations, or earned as rewards for completing challenges and quests. Once the required materials have been collected, players can combine them with Deca Energy to enhance their card, increasing its rarity and unlocking new abilities and powers.

Enhancement Materials

Yggdrasil Trees: Available in the 12 Jotunn elements, Yggdrasil Trees are ancient sources of power that imbue cards with elemental energy, enhancing their abilities and attributes. Players must seek out these powerful trees and harvest their essence for use in the upgrading process.

Ravens: Found in the 12 Jotunn elements, Ravens are mystical creatures that serve as guardians of knowledge and power. By capturing these elusive birds, players can harness their energy to further empower their cards and unlock new abilities.

Light Orbs: These radiant spheres contain the essence of light, a powerful force that can be used to strengthen cards and provide them with unique abilities. Players can discover Light Orbs hidden throughout Jotunn or earn them as rewards for completing quests and challenges.

Dark Orbs: As counterparts to Light Orbs, Dark Orbs contain the essence of darkness and can be used to enhance cards with shadowy powers. Players must venture into the darkest corners of Jotunn to find these elusive orbs, or they may obtain them as rewards for overcoming difficult challenges.

Void Orbs: Rarer than Light and Dark Orbs, Void Orbs hold the power of the void and are essential for unlocking the most potent abilities within cards. Players will need to face the most formidable opponents and explore the most remote regions of Jotunn to acquire these valuable materials.

KTSD token: The primary currency of the Kortstrid Web3 version game, KTSD tokens are required for upgrading cards to higher rarity tiers. Players can earn KTSD tokens through gameplay, participating in events, and trading with other players in the marketplace.

Deca Energy (DE): A unique energy source found within the world of Jotunn and used within the standard game build, Deca Energy is essential for enhancing cards and unlocking their hidden potential. Players will need to gather Deca Energy by completing quests, battling opponents, and exploring the vast world of Jotunn.
